Perhaps the most interesting feature of the house is the furniture – an arresting combination of antique pieces and sleek, modern creations. You find a sofa with a cushioned footrest sitting next to a sleek dark wood three-seater in the leisure room. The three-level table in the same room, one of Sarita’s favorites, is home to her CDs as well as DVD player. Her side tables are crisscrossed slabs of wood in clean, neat lines. A round antique table with elephant motifs in the living room, gifted by her son-in-law, is another of her favorites.
