The day cream/lotion is light in formulation, has some amount of SPF or UV filters and works to keep your skin stress-free in the polluted atmosphere (use a lotion for oily skin and cream for dry skin). The day serum is more intensive and tackles deep-set wrinkles, and is meant for the more mature skin. Day creams may have anti-ageing or whitening properties.
